FX Blinds Fitting Guide
Fitting your new blind is a simple process with the knowledge of just a few tips of the trade. All you will need
is a drill with bits and a screwdriver. All of the required parts for your blind are included within the packaging;
full fitting instructions are supplied with your blind as they differ slightly with blind types.
Before drilling holes, position your blinds to check for sufficient clearance to allow operation around handles or
curtains etc and mark the position of your brackets.
Tips for successful drilling
Always use the correct drill bit
our blinds are supplied with 'red' rawlpugs suitable for a 5.5mm masonary bit
Use a High Speed Twist Bit On Metal
if you hit metal such as a lintol above the window, switch to a high speed metal drill bit until you are through it
Don't drill too deep
wrap a peice of masking tape around your drill bit at the length of the screw; hold the drill steady and straight
and drill to the depth of the tape.
Once your brackets are in place all that is left to do is to clip the headrail into them and assemble the blind
according to the instructions provided. It really is as simple as that.
Keep your instructions and any 'spare' brackets you recieve in a safe place, the instructions contain care and cleaning
information and will be handy should you ever move or decide to use the blind elsewhere in your home.
